Granny Mae's

About Us

Granny Mae's has been lovingly created in honor of my grandmother, Sara Mae Herber.  She was a teacher, avid gardener and someone who was inspired by the changing of the seasons.  Granny Mae's personifies her memory and her life.  Mae was born in 1908 and passed away in 1998 at the age of 90.  This ground in rural Russell County was purchased by the Herber's in 1942 and remains in the family today.

I, with my childhood memories, along with my family, have created a magical fall festival for all ages.  I invite you to transport yourself and your family into that special season that is autumn at Granny Mae's Pumpkin Patch.  These are the joys that make life real, that make life rich.
